Abstract

This study examines how Artificial Intelligence supports the program benefits dependency mapping, governance and the value realization. The literature review shows the effective program management depends on continuous value tracking, strong governance and managing uncertainty. Findings from surveys and interviews shows that traditional mapping methods are too static for the AI driven programs and are generally unable to detect the changing relationships. AI helps to improve decision making by giving real time insights, predictive analysis and better visibility of interdependencies. Though, there are still some challenges. The challenges include data quality problems, lack of transparency and limited integration with the governance framework. This study also shows that there is a strong need for dynamic mapping systems, strong governance models and human oversight. A combined approach of AI capabilities with structured governance can help to improve the decision making, accountability and long-term value in the organizations.
